Listing Details

This listing is for a signed 16x20 Color photo from the 1986 World Series Champion New York Mets. Celebration shot beautifully signed in blue sharpie. A year that Met Fans will never forget. A remarkable 30 signatures on this photo including all the important guys: Gary Carter (HOF), Davey Johnson (manager), Ray Knight (with WS MVP Inscription), Keith Hernandez, Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, Mookie Wilson, Lenny Dykstra, Mel Stottlemyre (coach), Rick Anderson, Rafael Santana, Danny Heep, Wally Backman, Ed Hearn, Tim Teufel, Ron Darling, Bud Harrelson (coach), Rick Aguilera, Jesse Orosco, Kevin Mitchell, Doug Sisk, Bill Robinson (coach d 07), George Foster, Barry Lyons, Dave Magadan, Kevin Elster, Bruce Beryni, Howard Johnson and Randy Neiman. A very complete piece. I can't even imagine what it would cost to reproduce this photo at shows today. What really separates this photo from the many others you see out there is the presence of the signature of the GM of that team, the legendary FRANK CASHEN. Frank was the architect of this team and a major reason for their success. Frank didn't sign many autographs and didn't take part in any of these signings. After purchasing this photo I visited Frank at his home in Maryland (before he passed away in 2014) and was able to get him to sign just a few of them. You will find them nowhere else. This photo has been certified by PSA/DNA, the premier autograph authentication company in the world. Their authentication is accepted and used by all the major auction houses. Comes with their full letter as pictured, number P14054. NOTE: The Cashen signature was added after the letters were printed, PSA/DNA examined the Cashen signatures and updated in on their website, you can see the Cashen autograph is included when you look up item number P14054.
